AMT Firestone DRAG 500 Big Slicks wheel problem

Hello fellow modelers. I have a big issue I need help with. I have  an AMT 1/25th scale Chevy Bel Air Sport Coupe that I have chopped & would like to apply these wide slicks to it. I have one big issue. The wheels in the kit do not fit the tires, they just all through. I have been beating my brain trying to find on the internet a set of wheels to fit them & do you think I can find any? Not a chance. I have been looking for resin ones, but that is a no go. Can someone please direct me to a site where I can purchase a set of resin wheels to fit these tires. I guess I will need to buy a set for front & back tires so they match. Regards, Stu

What size is the opening of the slick? Sometimes wrapping the wheels with a couple layers of tape will work, but, if the wheels fall through I don't think that will work.
