rattle can man Posted October 11, 2024 Posted October 11, 2024 Two questions as I plan out a build: Is there a source reflective stripe material? s[ecifically in solid blue and white to run the length of the truck. Or do i just use metallic paini and spray them? is there a source plain old fleet front bumpers? as in no rub strips or wind deflectors. just seeing if I can avoid surgery and chroming. Thanks in advance.

That's a no on this question. I had to eliminate the rub strips on my recent XL truck build.
rattle can man Posted October 12, 2024 Author Posted October 12, 2024 just thought I'd ask before diving in. I'm busy scheming and dreaming since I'm not even a week since shoulder surgery. 1
johnyrotten Posted October 13, 2024 Posted October 13, 2024 Do you think it would be possible to use water slide decal paper and print/have printed your own reflective stripe. You would have to scale it down, or find a paper that looks close to what you need. I've used that on paint jobs for custom motorcycles I've built in the past. Just a thought.
rattle can man Posted October 13, 2024 Author Posted October 13, 2024 just colored decal sheets could work since they were just straight strips io reflective vinyl. but white decal on white truck would not be as obvious as a reflective/ sparkly material.
