Phil Lesh dead at 84

Founding member of the Grateful Dead, died peacefully with family by his side. He still played an annual residency at the Capital theater near me in Port Chester, NY. He enjoyed a long strange trip.

Sad I always enjoyed hearing them on the radio May he R.I.P.

I was listening to the GD channel on XM radio earlier in the week and marveling at how good he was on the bass. A couple days later he was gone. He will be missed. 

He sang well, Unbroken Chain from the Mars Hotel is a good listen. I believe he also did Box Of Rain on American Beauty.
