SCOTT SHAFIROFF’S 1968 Super stock CAMARO

I started with the amt 1968 Camaro. I cut the hood scoop off the grumpy’s Vega the front wheels are from the double dragster kit the rear s/s are from the old pro nova with amt slicks from the parts box .the headers are out of the pro street 1966 nova. The body is testors revering red lacquer with white enamel on the hood . The decals are from slixx. The pin stripe decals are really tough to get on with out them folding over on them selves. For a rather simple kit it came out good. Until next time thanks for looking, Mike

Very cool subject Michael.  I also just started this same build and pulled the hood from a Grumpy's kit to do the same thing as you (great minds think alike?  LOL).  I am dreading those pin stripe decals!

Yeah the pin stripes really suck to put on I clear coated over them before I put the rest of the decals on. I forgot l had to shackle the rear spring mounts about even with the bottom of the gas tank. Good luck on your build
