Hey Bob,so what u think of the LIARS show.I know we must have seen each other, and i probably bought a couple of kits from u.Of course i was late again.I also lost my phone, and noticed it when i got to the show..Its a long story, but by a miracle i got it back. But i wasn’t able to take any pics at the show.?Anyway, hope u did well at the show.$$Also have u been to the Smithhaven mall on Sunday AM?I went there a few weeks ago,but haven’t been there in a while. From what i heard,it’s really crowded there. However people have been always going to Capetree,or the OBI,and that won’t end anytime soon. The mall is obviously closer to me,living in Smithtown.?
bobss396 Posted November 11, 2024 Posted November 11, 2024 Someone stopped by my table mentioning a lost phone and my girlfriend called the phone in question. I remember some of the number, 631-592... no way... What kits did you buy? I made a few bucks and won 2nd place in shelf model competition and 3rd in closed wheel competition. I'll try the Smithhaven mall one Sunday.

Yea i guess that was me.So u said i used your wife’s to call it?She was so nice to help me out.I think she saw how anxious I was. When i called it,a woman picked up.And said her grandfather found it in some gas station that i stopped at..Must have slipped out of my jacket pocket.Anway make a long story short, cause I’m pretty sure your wife told must have told u what happened. But like i said a woman answered the phone told me everything and asked when i come to her house in Long Beach. But she also told me.that my sister called my phone, she picked up and told me that her GF found my phone, gave to her,and she was going to wait till someone called my phone. And as I said,my sister called her. Then today,my sister drove to Long Beach to get it,and drop it off.She lives in Great Neck, which is a lot closer to LB.Anyhow,i’am sick and tired of losing my phone.??.Oh and the show,i just threw a bunch of in progress drag cars onto one of the “display” table.I did buy a few kits.A couple of Fox body Mustangs,a 83 442,and a few others.Good show, pretty crowded.Congrats on your awards, thats cool.If you have any pics from the show,do u think u can post them?
bobss396 Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 I'm glad you found the phone, quite the adventure! I was busy selling so I took zero pictures. I have to look around. Maybe something is on the Hobby Heaven boards.
