I think the straight pipes work well on this build, gives it a hot rod look.

This is exactly why I have followed your builds for a few years now - excellent details and paint, just a pleasure to look at!  Going great, Gary.

Well, I don't think I'm doing anything that others haven't already done, so have at it!

Nice tip on mandrel bend!   The pipes came out great!

I did have to sand the radius at the outside of the bend as the aluminum was a little grainy, but cleaned up nicely.

Impressive build!  Not a big rig builder but always appreciate seeing clean, well executed detailing and paint, no matter what the the subject matter is. Also, i picked up a few good tips along the way.

Finger nail tape seams to work and looks good. May all fall off by morning so will not add glue yet. Getting the plumbing work under the hood completed.

A few more details on the engine, polish breather tube, then finish up the grill and mount. I can see the finish line. Brass radiator cap was a pain. Dreaming of the next project already. IMG_2426.jpeg.98ea668fe33ef5d7fbecd3cb0ca54302.jpeg

Thanks, it’s a little showy but fits the Resto Rod idea.

Plumbing on the engine completed, exhaust completed. Now I can mount the passenger side battery box, finish headlights, then mount fenders. IMG_2430.jpeg.8068861126db66e8fbd3cc14fcda52cf.jpeg

This is the masterpiece being made here, Gary.

Love the engine details and shining components throughout the truck.  My kind of style! ;)   And those exhaust pipes coming out side look very sweet.

Thanks Steve, I am hopefull that the fenders and sleeper take a bit of bling away, but it hits the idea of a RestoRod.

Terrific work going here, Gary - should be some blue ribbons in store for this one!

Thanks Brian, not sure about a ribbon, I can think of several things that could improve on. As we all say “the next one will be better”

Absolute work of art that Gary. Very tidy and clean too. A show truck. I love the stacks, you can't beat real metal.
