iamsuperdan Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 Okay, so if anyone here is trading or selling or buying with anyone in Canada, there will be delivery delays for a while. https://www.canadapost-postescanada.ca/cpc/en/our-company/news-and-media/corporate-news/negotiations/2024-11-15-cupw-announces-national-strike-that-will-cause-service-delays-for-canadians Canada Post officially went on strike at midnight, so nothing is getting delivered, either to or from Canada. Unless you go with a courier. Which in some cases is on par with Canada Post pricing. Just an FYI for everyone. Please do not start discussing or lamenting the reasons behind it.
stinkybritches Posted November 17, 2024 Posted November 17, 2024 Of course they are on strike. I have been waiting for a Hot Wheels pre-order to ship since mid July. It was supposed to ship on the 15th of this month, the same day the strike started. It's coming from somewhere within Canada. The order is supposed to be a part of my son's Christmas. Oh well. 1
Falcon Ranchero Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 Well good now the post is back up and running as of Tuesday, being forced back to work. I mean striking while it's Christmas, thee most busiest mail-wise time of the year is and odd choice; but I hope they can come to some sort of agreement once the holidays are over 1
