I already painted the KS logo and it wasn't too bad. I used the silver Sharpie for the K, and red paint for the S. The red was the hardest, but not too bad. I had thought about useing the silver Sharpie for the grill's bars, but afraid that'll look tacky. I think it's best left black. Reason for thinking of chromeing, is that on the rear, there is a bar on the trunk just above the liscence plate that is to be chrome. I thought it might match up well to chrome both. I might use the BMF for the rear.

That's BMF on the grill? that looks great!

Yep! It sure is! I cleaned it up some more so it look's even better in person. I'm heading to the hobby shop to find the "pure white" in a bottle so I can do some touch up work. Then decal's, then clear coat. Just primered the mirrors and waiting for theme to dry before painting those.

Bare Metal Foil REALLY pushes your patients level as it's delicate stuff to work with. The stuff is almost as thin as a hair and tears easily. Trick is to stick it in position, and use a tooth-pick to smooth it all out into place. The tooth-pick really helps in bringing out all the details BEFORE scoring off the access with a sharp knife.

For the mirror's, I use chrome monocoat. Sticky-backed stuff they use for RC model-airplanes. Nice, but not as thin and formable as the BMF is.

There was only one set of badges I did not bother with since they were white lettering. I didn't think anybody could ever see white lettering on a white car, so why bother? Anyway, I'll let this dry till tomarrow and clear coat her!

Next step is to stick chrome tape behind the headlight/taillight lenses, and paint in the clear color's, stick'em on and she's done! Oh so nearly complete! :D

Almost done! Just added the chrome tape behind the lenses and on the mirrors. Painted the clear red/orange on the lights. Clear coated the roof. Later this afternoon I will glue the mirrors on the car, and clear-coat the entire thing. Then final assembly some time tomarrow!
