I like the addition of the extra step, Jeff!  I’m curious about the AK chrome, too - it looks great.  Maybe you could add a pic of the bottle?

@BK9300 here's the AK super chrome Im using.

I either brush on lightly or airbrush it, brushing it takes a soft touch and usually 2 coats. Cleans up easy w iso alcohol

Thanks Gary! I keep seeing little areas I'd like to change, I swear us modelers are our own worse enemy.

After stopping by our FD for photos, I realized I was missing a pretty obvious detail. The chief mentioned I didn't have anywhere to store the air tanks! Most of our towns trucks had doors near the rear wheels for them..so out came the scrap evergreen and got to work. 

The cab finally got an airhorn..or is it horns lol

That's it for the wknd, back to earning a paycheck!
