Enamel paint won't thin

I'm trying to thin some enamel paint to air brush and it won't mix to save my life.  I've been trying to stir it for the past half hour and it just settles at the bottom

Nevermind I'm dumb,  I figured it out. 

I poured all the paint at once then tried thinning it and turned it to Elmer's glue

I stopped using enamel paints about 25 years ago. For brush painting, I go with Tamiya or Vallejo products.
