Biggu Posted August 8 Author Posted August 8 A small update. As per a suggestion by Ron “shaky” Gardner, I highlighted the panel lines. I deepened the panel lines prior to primer and paint. They looked ok in real life but under the lens they were lack lustre. Ron suggested using a black panel liner or a thinned acrylic paint. Looking closely at it and the light colors I used, as well as the original sales literature, I thought black may be a bit ‘harsh’ so I chose a fairly dark grey, appropriately and with a very fine brush managed to stay within the lines and did the highlights. Maybe a bit dark but to the Mark 1 eyeball in real life it looks ok 1
Biggu Posted August 8 Author Posted August 8 So with the cab drying I decided I had better finish off the VERY bland factory interior. It was just basically a just a plain tub so stepping well out of my comfort zone and encouraged by Brian and his exquisite skills and the fact the Bren printed a couple extra goodies I decided to give it a go. So just a quick recap , I added some door panel detail, added the door support and the nuts, I also added some detail to the seats in piping trim, from there I added resin door handles, and window cranks, then Brian designed and Bren printed the control panel for the oil distribution from the tank, to which I added the plumbing. I also added one of Bren’s control boxes on the dash with the plumbing. I scratch made the two speed switch on the shifter, also scratched a PTO valve and the spring brake release valve. I dusted the interior up a bit and am actually quite pleased the way it turned out. I know the pics probably don’t do it justice, but again in real life it looks ok. 1

Repstock Posted August 8 Posted August 8 It might be too late now, but this area of the cab should have vents, which are on the PE fret. 1
