Valvefloat Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I just used the non sticky side of masking tape to create a texture dash pad for my 1971 Duster kit, it's subtle but I know it's there 1
johnyrotten Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Did you wrap the dash with tape or use the tape to imprint the texture?
StevenGuthmiller Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I’m assuming he just used the backside of the tape to imprint the texture. Using the tape itself to cover the dash would be WAY out of scale, much as it is for vinyl tops. Steve 1
Valvefloat Posted March 23 Author Posted March 23 I just put a coat of paint on and looped a piece of tape around my fingers an pressed the dash. Might look at other masking tapes texture for wrinkle finishes. 1 1
