Spooker Posted April 3 Posted April 3 Here are four of my favorite HO cars (well, 3 cars and an unfinished body): Group pic, L to R - Aurora T-Jet Batmobile; RRR 1989 resin Batmobile body w/roof logo sticker, fits 4-gear AFX chassis; unknown resin 1940's Batmobile on T-Jet Slimline chassis; early issue Johnny Lightning mid-1960's comic book Batmobile on J/L clone T-Jet chassis. 1
Rich Chernosky Posted May 8 Posted May 8 Real cool collection of Batmobiles, Brian. Who makes the 1950's version. First time I have ever seen it. I have a huge HO collection of Batmobiles but not this one...soooo I'm jealous.
Spooker Posted May 8 Author Posted May 8 Hey Rich, I have no idea who made it. A lucky e-Bay purchase probably 20 years ago. On a Slimline T-Jet chassis. As you can see by the fin, the black resin is pretty translucent. Is there any aspect of our hobbies that you DON'T have a huge collection of?
Rich Chernosky Posted Monday at 03:34 AM Posted Monday at 03:34 AM Brian...I started racing slot cars (HO first) and building models around 1963-4. That's 62yrs ago. And I have been doing it continuosly ever since. In that kind of time you can accumulate a LOT. I bought things when they came out, persued collections, went to shows. It has never been a hobby to me. More like an obsession. Call me a sick pup.. you're probably right. But on the bright side I am willing to share. Anything I know is yours just for the asking. Now...about that Batmobile ????
