HOLY COW! I got a grail kit for a steal! 1/8 scale Honda CBX 1000

Unreal. I just got a Yodel 1/8 scale Honda CBX motorcycle kit, open box, sealed in bags, for $23.99 plus shipping. I’ve seen these sell for close to $400. Four people had it on their watch list. I guess they snoozed through the end of the auction. I was there, heart racing, hoping my bid would be high enough…wondering if there would be a flurry of bids at the last moment. I was the only bidder. The auction didn’t say 1/8 scale, so maybe some people thought it was the 1/15 scale kit. I want to use that engine for a custom bike like I saw in a magazine years ago. It was long and low, no fairings that I remember. Ducati single-sided swingarm. Fuel was in a pair of tanks, one on either side of the frame, aluminum or stainless tubes with a diagonal cut at each end and a convex end. It’s been years since I saw that photo. I would love to see it again, but it’s ok if I don’t. I can just use my imagination.
