FujimiLover Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Hello there. Well, she is finished! This was a fun quick build, very simple kit to do. Only time needed was to allow paint to dry, and we all know how much fun that is to watch! I appreciate MR. Mike for selling me his kit and I hope he enjoy's what it has become! This is one of my favorite KS models and my favorite tuned 928's! Enjoy!
diymirage Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 paint looks awesome other then that it also looks good its a nice no thrills build 2 thumbs up
FujimiLover Posted May 5, 2009 Author Posted May 5, 2009 Would you like to see a picture of all three KS car's together?
Foxer Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 (edited) Came out great ... very clean build! ... and I just noticed they molded the sunroof in!! ...hardly anyone does that Edited May 5, 2009 by Foxer
FujimiLover Posted May 5, 2009 Author Posted May 5, 2009 Thank's Foxer! Yes the sunroof is molded in, in fact! The window is a solid one peice unit inculuding full roof. So if I wanted to, I could've cut out the sunroof and have the glass panel there. But the glass panel would've been sunken in and not flush with the roof. One of Fujimi's other great kit's is their 89 Honda CRX which has a sliding sun-roof! Yes, this is one of my cleanest build's and I'm very proud of it. My only disapointment was losing the passanger side mirror, but at least it was only the passanger's side and NOT the drivers! The color/paint turned out perfect on this one and it really suits the car I think. I love it!
jbwelda Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 wow that looks great! and you bombed right through it in record time, seems to me! great interior detail too.
FujimiLover Posted May 5, 2009 Author Posted May 5, 2009 Thank you guy's! Yes, it was a quick build as there were very little parts to it. No steering, no suspension, very simple. Like I said, only time required was waiting for paint to dry! Mr. Mike, I had thought about making the passanger side mirror out of plastic as you said, but I didn't feel it needed the passanger side that badly. And it's actually more triangular than square. For the price I paid for this kit, I'm very happy it turned out so well and oh so perfect!
Nick F40 Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Oh yes this came out great, you know I love it, love the Koenigs.
