Hey all

Got some more work done on this build. Here are some pictures for yous all to look at.

20250427_153723.jpgThis view shows the Italeri rear backing plates I added to the front axle. They will represent the brake drums. It's all you can see when the wheels are attached.

20250427_153757.jpgThis view shows the kits axle pin retainers

20250427_155118.jpgThis view shows them mounted to the axle. This will allow the W/T's to rotate.

20250427_155110.jpgThis view shows the front axle looking down on it.

20250427_153851.jpgThis view shows the new front floats that I'm going to use. They are Bridgestones from Paul at ST Supply.

20250427_155919.jpgThis view shows them temperaly in place on the front axle.

20250427_160437.jpgThis is a mock-up picture of the truck.

20250427_174958.jpgAnother mock-up view with the engine, cab & tank.

20250427_184743.jpgBottom view of the front axle and the Italeri front shocks I added. (Black items)

20250427_183119.jpgThis view shows the front steering mechanism added. I've done this so it looks like it's attached to the front axle, but it's not, this way the steering still works. You can see the front shocks I added in this picture also.

20250427_184914.jpgTop down picture of the frame and the rear brake chambers that I added. They are the ones from Paul at ST Supply. (Revell level 5 copys)

20250427_185321.jpgThis view shows the brake chambers I added better. Well that's it for now be back soon with more updates.

Love the wheel and tire combination. Those floats are my go to. We had the exact ones on our tandems. They could be a little bit noisy at times but were really good tires. We got lots of miles on them. No cupping or excessive wear, worked well and look great. This truck is going to be the big lifter so to speak. It sure has the right look, and that rubber makes it !

Hey all

Well let's try this again. I added the side pieces to the hood. As I tried to say in my previous post this was inspired by redneckriggers link belt crane build.

20250429_121702.jpgThis view shows the hood closed.

20250429_121505.jpgThis view shows the hoods left side open.

20250429_121837.jpgThis view shows the hoods right side open. We'll that's it for now be back soon with more
