The Brush Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Hi, Had a busy couple of months doing real life stuff, But now back on the bench is a lowloader to go with the F series Macks which are now finished - photos soon, Built from what i have in stock, The frame from 3mm perspex covered in 0.5 plastic sheet the springs are resin, axle ali tube, tyres from a mould i have of the hard plastic type, spoke wheels are moulded from the AMT 1/25 box trailer, i covered them in liquid latex, when set & removed these moulds shrink about 10%, then cast the wheels in resin which with some adjustment fitted in the hard tyres, Then made a mould of the tyres with wheel & cast them in resin. I have added some plumbing for effect. 3

The Brush Posted May 18 Author Posted May 18 Thanks for commenting, The decking is from an old wooden window blind I have just changed for a new one.
