Saw that car last year at the Detroit Autorama.

Very well done custom!

They even have faux late 60's magazine articles as part of the display.

The April issue of Modern Rodding Magazine has a picture and some information as to the owner and the shop that built this car. They mention that there would be an upcoming feature in a future issue of the magazine.

That's wicked!!!!!!

 

Did you guys know the Mustang was named Cougar up until 3 months before production. And NO the Mustang was NEVER named after the plane. How do I know this, well I have personally talked to Iacocca, Gale Halderman and Joe Oreos back in the day and all three confirmed the only mention of the plane was an ad executive that wanted to use the plane in ads. Gee, instead they used the horses.

That's right; I read about that concept of the Mustang and it had a Cougar in the center grille instead of a horse; would've been a Ford Cougar otherwise, but Mercury Cougar has a better ring to it.
