FujimiLover Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 (edited) I personally like the white better. I think it would be easier for you to replicate since the model comes in white. However, if you like the green, now I'm not sure what green they used on that car, but I'd go for Boyd's Chezoom Teal Pearl green. Really nice and should look good on that. Actually, I think the Chezoom would be a very close match to that. Edited July 18, 2009 by FujimiLover
The Red Ranger Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 The green to me is definitely a forest green, I personally prefer the green overall, though I think I prefer the front end on the white one a bit more.
diymirage Posted July 18, 2009 Author Posted July 18, 2009 id say a jaguar ANY jaguar build to racing specs should be the traditional british racing green i know, it your car and therefore it is your choice but i think it just looks right in british racing green (no i do not get paid to say british racing green)
B_rad88 Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 thanks guys for the comments! and the green is actually BRITISH RACING GREEN! and the kit is molded grey, but i used the flash so the kit shows better! and with the flash it looks white! lol! and what do you guys thing about the "stock" deep dish wheels?

B_rad88 Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Green is good. Go deep. Lip is good. DEEEEEEEEEP!!!!!!! cool! i got another trick up my sleeve! well as many people here know modified drifters have wide fenders! well, with those deep dish rims, there are going to be matching "PHAT" fenders! ooohhh-laa-laa!
B_rad88 Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Forest Green, British racing Green, Tomato = Tomatto. there is a slight difference! the forest green is slightly darker then british racing green! and BRG has a slight(very, very small) blue hue in it too!

The Red Ranger Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 (edited) I'm still working on this build. I am just trying to decide if I want to cut up the Skyline or leave it be. I REAAAALLLY want to cut it and mod the body, but I am a little scared to do so. What I am going for is to do a Before/Then with a 70 Skyline and a Modern Skyline like the one in my Avatar. Or: So what I am trying to do is make the 70 kit look like a de-evolution of that. ya know with similar body effects, but not the EXACT same ones. I think it'd be really awesome myself. Any words of encouragement or anything fellas? Edited July 25, 2009 by The Red Ranger
