reminds me of a coffee break story by a contractor i worked for in the late '70s. (the years; he was only around 50)

seems he was trying to inspire my young mind and create some enthusiasm for the job at hand.

i was less than inspired. i never knew too much, but could somehow always separate Sh!tte from Shinola.

It means I used square stock to tie the front portion to the Morrison 4 link and make a pseudo frame under what is essentially a unibody car.

Well, had I not done that the car would would have torn itself apart. It essentially ties the 10 point cage to the front and rear making it rigid and able to pass IHRA tech.
