Silly question though, Why does the Riv have a Nailhead in it? Did you combine the '66 and '69 kits and just choose the Nailhead?

I bought this as a partially started kit, hood scoop glue on and missing engine pieces. was gonna use a 409 but I didn't like the way it sat in there so I started going through my parts drawer and found a bagged up 66 riv engine, I do have future plans to use the 66 kit missing the body to update another 69 I have

Hay Phil luv the flip hood on the Rivie, might I ask how you did that, like how you attached the rods to the hood? with pics, I have a 59 I'm trying to do like that and I cant get it right. thanx

Over all I like the Rivie most, all the builds, are very impressive, but the Rivie sticks in the mind great job...

Thank you for the comments. I actually stole er "borrowed" the idea from this guy here. I would love to see it finished but I have a feeling its not.
