Smart-Resins Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 I am wanting to know where I can get preferably a rattle can of Maverick grabber yellow. Or as close to it as I can get? Any help. Thanks. Jody
my name is nobody Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 try using Testors 'model master' #2917. bright yellow.
FujimiLover Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 I've never liked yellow, except on Ferrari's and some Lamborghini's. But I've never had luck with yellow coming out smooth. Are there any tricks to getting a smooth silky yellow finish? I'm tempted to paint my KS Competition Spider yellow like this one. What's the best paint to use in order to get a smooth finish for yellow? And do I paint the yellow ontop of a white primer?
Eshaver Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 Jody you might want to try Eastwood tool supply as for a can to spray with. They now sell a refillable spray can that you can put your paint into , fill with air and spray a small touch up area on a 1-1 car . I use Eastwood as they have great service and the quality is always there . I have also found that their technical or trouble shooting personel are pretty sharp also. They have free catalouges ,givem a try Eastwood tool and supply in Pensylvania Ed Shaver
