Hello all. Hope you all are well. I have a Earnhardt Sr. paint question. For the Wheaties Orange car would this shade work for it? If so I obviously have to clear coat it since it's a satin finish. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Kind regards,

Tough to say, different color primers can change the shade.

Suggest a couple plastic spoons and a few different primers to get the result you’re looking for.

Thanks. Probably going with Tamiya White primer. There's also Testors One Coat Lacquer in Fiery Orange I am considering using as well.

Also found an unopened can of this shade in my paints stash. Tamiya TS12 Orange which might just do the trick. As always any thoughts, suggestions are welcomed.

To me, the first can has a little bit of a brown tint to it. Definitely think the second color is better. Get a box of Wheaties and spray some on it to see how close they are.
