I'm glad you're doing this, I just got one of those bodies last week and was trying to figure out what frame to use. Definitely will be following along.

Very nice, who sells the body kit?

I like using the AMT donor chassis. One thing to watch, I did one the same way, put the splice where you did. It puts the transmission too far forward.

It looks way worse on my car since the splice was wider.

I cast the bodies! I lengthen the drive shaft the same distance I stretched the chassis

and remove the top of the linkage on the transmission.

Then you've been there. I'm sure it will look great. Do you sell the kits? Nice to see you have the glass.

Thanks Gerald. I got the body from Ace Decals, but I knew you had something to do with it, so there was no hesitation in purchasing one.

I actually used Rust Oleum colors on my build. The match was pretty spot on. I was a little hesitant because of how slowly it dries but I was able to mask it without issues. Are you using Tamiya for the yellow as well?

What did you use for the red stripe? I used nail tape on mine. Decals turned out great. Do you clear coat your decals?

The pinstripe came on the Powerslide decal sheet. I apply a light coat of 2K before and after the decals.
