My first 1:43rd but definitely not my last! I was worried about the roof line on this body since its so low, but once the car is totally done, it is not even noticeable in my opinion!

I parked it next to my 1:24 Red FXX so you have an idea how small it is....

Thanks for looking.....

Awesome 1/43! But the roof line does look low. Look's like sombody at the chop-shop chopped the roof a scale inch or two! Wonder what happened? I've never seen an F-40 with a low roofline like that.

I hope whenever I build my 1/43 it look's this good!

That must be the Starter F40, it does have some roof issues. I have built more 1/43rd's than I care to remember...lol. I think the BBR F40's were some of the best offered in this scale. You did a great job on this one Dave!!!

Well, I love this no matter what, it came out incredible. The roof does looked chopped though, it give it that IMSA GTP look.

Do those cars usually have a low roof line? :o

It is a NICE BUILD for SURE!

The cars usually dont have that low of a line but that was a big complaint with this particular kit made by STARTER... The ride height was too high as well. I was able to correct that by grinding out the wheel well areas to get the tires up in and tucked properly... At first when I was in process on the build I was really dissapointed with the low roof line and the stance but being able to get one of them remedied satisfied me on the final outcome...

Thanks all!

It's low car with a low roof line but not that low. They just didn't proportion it right. He did do a good job though making it somewhat unnoticable ;)
