Andria H Posted August 22 Posted August 22 (edited) Finished 1/25 scale custom diecast of a 1928 Chevrolet Capitol pickup truck, set up as a distressed Sinclair Oil tow truck with a Weaver Auto-Crane style hand cranked tow unit in the bed and sun-burned. surface rusted paint, over a distressed brown interior with basic nickel plate hardware and a partial, parts bin 1/35 WWII deuce and a half dash was made to look close enough inside. Unlike many of my previous distressed customs, this one looks about ready to go back to work! Fresh gas, tubes/tires/belts/hoses, and a new battery will suit it fine. 😁 This was a Spec Cast bank from St Vincent Depaul when I started on it Edited August 22 by Andria H photos/coherency 2
Big Messer Posted August 24 Posted August 24 Nice. I also liked to pick distressed diecasts at the local Goodwill, but they have sending them to their auction place for a while. 1

They put anything JoHan or Aurora or Midori or pre-Ertl AMT or anything all that nice diecastwise on auction here but anything else is fair game for thrifters.
