OH! STRIPES! At first when I read the title, I was reading it wrong and thought you meant stripped, like removed the paint! Not adding stripes, nice job! Very professional! Now do that on 1/24 scale! B)

How did you get the stripes to curve like that? When I tried that on my old 88 CRX, the edges curled upward when I tried to make turns, especially with tight curves. I even tried the stretching technique and it didn't work.

Those are hand-painted man. Like all the old hot rod guys did it. Really awesome job by the way. You've got a good eye and a steady hand. Great work man. I'm impressed.

FujimiLover, making the curves takes some practice. When you start the curve you need to roll the outside of the brush with the outside of the curve. You can either roll the brush in your fingers, turn your hand as you're pulling the line, or a combination of both.

LownSlow, Your striping looks pretty darn good for a beginner! A little shaky but so was I at first. Your symmetry is nice, composition is pretty good too. Nice work. Pinstriping is a dying art, it's nice to see others doing it.

I didn't realize that was hand-painted, so even more impressive! I was thinking of vinyl pint-stripping tape. That is what I was asking about as the tape is what curles up on the curves.
