Gary Chastain Posted Sunday at 04:46 PM Posted Sunday at 04:46 PM I am so liking this build and the personality you are giving it. It tells a great story. 1
Jürgen M. Posted Sunday at 04:59 PM Author Posted Sunday at 04:59 PM Thank you Gary! Nice of you to say that. I always enjoy hearing how others see it. Especially guys with your expertise! 1
Jürgen M. Posted Sunday at 07:38 PM Author Posted Sunday at 07:38 PM (edited) Getting there: Tried to make the decals look a bit worn. Edited Sunday at 07:42 PM by Jürgen M. 4
Jürgen M. Posted Sunday at 08:55 PM Author Posted Sunday at 08:55 PM (edited) A few more decals and mud flaps in front. The doors will be mounted tomorrow! Edited Sunday at 08:58 PM by Jürgen M. 4
Biggu Posted Sunday at 09:26 PM Posted Sunday at 09:26 PM This is so cool.... the service box looks great !!! I LOVE the worn looking license plate on the front bumper and a Cat Power decal for the front flaps would be super cool.... this is the best one so far..... awesome vision !!! really looks the part,,,,
Jürgen M. Posted Monday at 03:59 AM Author Posted Monday at 03:59 AM Thanks Pal! The Cat decals I could add. Good idea Today I hope I will get the doors in. But first comes work! 1
Jürgen M. Posted Monday at 03:28 PM Author Posted Monday at 03:28 PM (edited) I thought a spare would make sense for a service truck: Made this plate to mount the spare on top of the service box: The spare will be held down by a (printed) canvas and four spring hooks! I also made some working lights. Unfortunately the transparent foil I wrapped around it became a bit dull. Who cares! Looks worn that way. Edited Monday at 03:30 PM by Jürgen M. 2
RoninUtah Posted Monday at 04:06 PM Posted Monday at 04:06 PM This is looking better and better! I love how creatively you approach everything... this is such a unique build.
Jürgen M. Posted Monday at 04:47 PM Author Posted Monday at 04:47 PM (edited) Thanks Ron! I think it's about done now! Here are the first pics: Concerning the doors: The passenger door is glued in place, the drivers door doesn't close right so I left it open! It'll be posted 'Under Glass' shortly!
