Anyone build this model. I cant get the hood to close.

I built this kit back in June 2024,

and if I remember correctly, I had some trouble with final assembly as well.  Mostly just keeping the darn thing from falling apart.  I seem to recall having some trouble with the hood as well, but by happy circumstance, something broke, one of hinges I think, then the hood fit fine.

 

I think Kaci (@kacitgirl) has built the Toyota version of this kit.

the hinges are temperamental and very fragile i found a bit of gentle jiggling gets it to sit fairly well

It closes about as good as my 1:1. Don't remember any issues.
