6bblbird Posted Thursday at 06:35 PM Posted Thursday at 06:35 PM Just finished. Built to replicate the early carbureted version of Dick Landy's iconic Altered wheelbase '65 Dodge. A great Möebius kit with Tamiya paint and Slixx decals. Terrific stuff with no negative issues whatsoever. I was fortunate to have the Autolite, Holley and Isky decals in my stash. I made a white panel to go under the " Automotive Research" lettering to duplicate the true look of the lettering. 4
Hemifever Posted Friday at 12:51 AM Posted Friday at 12:51 AM Good looking build. I will definitely be adding a few of those to my stash. I remember my brother and I back in '65 tried to alter the wheel base on an AMT 65 Coronet, using an Auto World cutter, need I say more. Good job, always enjoy your builds.
M W Elky Posted Friday at 01:10 AM Posted Friday at 01:10 AM Great looking build I fully agree these Awb mopar kits pretty much just fall right together and with all the decals available there are many possibilities. Then there’s early and late versions . These kits are even more addictive than the revell 64 thunderbolts. They were along time in the making but so worth the wait

I also would make my own AWB cars. Cutting, sawing, gluing and puttying. Mobius makes it EASY!
stavanzer Posted yesterday at 03:57 AM Posted yesterday at 03:57 AM Wow! What a great build! That is a Home Run! Good Show.
