Horrorshow Posted September 18 Posted September 18 (edited) Trying something a little different. I stripped the chrome, going to paint it all flat black. I cut the chassis to fit large drag tires. I painted the body seafoam green. Edited September 18 by Horrorshow Wrong picture 4
meechum68 Posted September 19 Posted September 19 Looking good!! I have Christine in my stash, and going with a drag build as well, will be watching!
johnyrotten Posted September 19 Posted September 19 I like the concept, there's something about a 5000 lbs car hauling down the strip that's just cool to me. What's the plan for the drivetrain?

johnyrotten Posted September 19 Posted September 19 The big hemi would fit the bill. Gonna pay attention to this one. I like that color, there's a guy on YouTube with one in the same color, an old diesel taxi. Check out "perky" at dead dodge garage.

Kinda surprised by that. Those old cars don't weigh as much as they seem to.. My dad was floored when he learned what his 4 door sedan '57 Bel Air weighed when it was being restored several years ago.. 1
