LennyB Posted September 23 Posted September 23 As the title says I need a front and rear grill/bumper for the 63 T-Bird. Got an old custom I want to resurrect.
Can-Con Posted September 23 Posted September 23 Afraid I don't have any to spare Lenny but the back bumper from the new tool AMT '62 fits the AMT '61-'63 annuals like it was made for them if that helps. Tail lights are slightly different between the 3 though if that matters. Front bumper and hood are different enough to not fit without quite a bit of work though unfortunatly. Not to mention the grilles also being different between all 3 years..

Wickersham Humble Posted October 3 Posted October 3 I have a '62 -- I believe -- front grille unused but back in '62 I removed the 'chrome' from the bumper upright blades thinking it would be more subtle... good taste in a 16 year old? Might have the wheel covers, too. Your's if you want 'em. Eventually (60 years later) i built my kit into a sorta' Bonneville racer called 'Big BIrd' -- bright yellow, Cat V-16 Diesel, one racing seat, twin-turbos in trunk, etc. I used the 'Styline' front and rear pans from AMT; wish I had some pics of it!
