Brian Austin Posted September 30 Posted September 30 (edited) At least one Mercer Raceabout was converted to a truck. The first two pages are photocopied from an old book on car restoration. The second article I recently found posted on Facebook. Interestingly, it is the very same car. These sources, randomly found decades apart, show the complete restoration back to original configuration of the car once owned by none other than Buster Keaton! Now I'd like to find more pictures of its truck form. Edited September 30 by Brian Austin 1 1

Brian Austin Posted September 30 Author Posted September 30 I wasn't even aware this car had belonged to Buster Keaton until I saw a video clip on Facebook from a Keaton film showing himself at the wheel of a Model T while another character pulls up next to him in a sporty car, what turned out to be his Mercer. The discussion in the comment section was fascinating.
