Hey, thanks brother. Nah, you knew it right away and I am such a perfectionist in my own right that it was bothering me. I am working on it now to make the hold down rod looks correct or at least believable! Much appreciated on the kind words from both you and your wife. Keep checking back, I should have more soon.

Took a few more pictures, thinking I may replace the spare tire with a covered one...thoughts?

I like the spare tire as is, too - goes with the look of the whole car, which is so detailed, and besides, not sure the owner of the car could spare the money for a tire cover!

I like the uncovered tire, though your cover is hard to beat.  Have you thought about holding the spare on with straps or bungie cord?  Regarsless, your doing a great job.

Yeah, I created a bungee cord for the top rack and have considered using two cords to hold the tired down. Maybe creating those classic black rubber bungee cords with the "S" hooks? If I weathered the covered tire, I have no doubt it would settle in with the rest of the look. I will do both and see what you all say is the better look.

Did you 3D print the accessories on the roof rack, or does someone sell those?

Thanks for the kind words, Jim. I struggle with myself over realism, even if it my build. Yes, I print all my own resin 3d prints. However the STL files are either bought or free.

Now this is something I would like to find parked in a barn somewhere with a "For Sale" sign on it. Excellent weathering. Looking through your selection of 'reading material' it appears this may belong to a college student or maybe a high school kid, just wondering where the 'Playboy' is.

Ricky, the playboys are inside the MAD and Sports Illustrated covers...c'mon now - can't let anyone see. Thanks for the uplifting comments, hopefully the next one I am working on will be equally as detailed.
