Ben Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 I was wondering if there are any others out there like me that feel the right wheels really make the model? I really like the look of the Magnum 500 wheels on a 69 or 70 Mustang or Torino but I have not seen any in a kit yet that look correct. They are usually too shallow, wrong diameter or something. Before I go and machine one on the lathe, I thought I would double check to see if a correct looking one exists in either plastic or resin.

Ben Posted May 23, 2009 Author Posted May 23, 2009 Personally, I like the ones in the AMT '70 Chevelle best. They'r what I used on my Volare Road Runner below. If you have the January issue of MCM you can see a few better pics of them. BTW ,, the wheels in the R/M Buick GSX are not Magnum 500s ,, they'r Buick rallye wheels. They look similar but the spokes are different. Wow, cool Volare!!!!!!! You don't see those very often! Those wheels do look nice too!
