Silvercreeker Posted Tuesday at 01:46 AM Posted Tuesday at 01:46 AM Here we go on my Christmas 2025 build! Santa must have something that can get him through the Lake Effect Blizzards we get here in Buffalo! So what better than a WW2 Half track. So it looks like a Rommel Rod is the perfect starting point. That in-line 1939 Mercedes engine is cool and some Jimmy Flintstone figures for a bit extra. Less than 10 weeks to get her done for the big man! 9
Kanada Kustoms Posted Tuesday at 09:19 AM Posted Tuesday at 09:19 AM Very cool festive project... Look forward to seeing your progress! 1
meechum68 Posted Tuesday at 12:32 PM Posted Tuesday at 12:32 PM Very cool subject, Looking forward to seeing this throughout the build process. 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted Tuesday at 12:48 PM Posted Tuesday at 12:48 PM (edited) Cool project. Chilly even. Should be fun. Edited Tuesday at 12:50 PM by Ace-Garageguy 1
Silvercreeker Posted Tuesday at 11:44 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 11:44 PM Changing it up from military to what Mr Claus would want to bring to Cars and Coffee! 1929 Ford bench seat, tv, reel to reel, telephone and a cb. The tracks looks so much better in chrome, and some Christmas lights for taillights and turn signals. 1
Big Messer Posted Wednesday at 05:29 AM Posted Wednesday at 05:29 AM Did one decades ago. Mercifully got lost in a moving... 1
Glassparman Posted Wednesday at 11:28 AM Posted Wednesday at 11:28 AM Looks like a fun project! Now I want one! 1

I picked this one up for 10 bucks at the RONCON show. The skeletons were removed, but I did not plan on using them, so no problem.

I believe I have at least one of the skeletons somewhere. Edited Wednesday at 02:03 PM by Big Messer 1
Silvercreeker Posted 23 hours ago Author Posted 23 hours ago The 1/2 tracks look much better with some panel liner. And the big inline 8 is ready for the spark plug wiring stage. 5
Silvercreeker Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago Spark plug wires went pretty easy. Love when a motor has a plug rail. Looking good. Added a mesh membrane for the air filter. Mock up looks right. 1
