The Brush Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Hi, At last i have started the cat d7 (maybe not for everyone) for the 1/32 F700& lowloader, Its a long time since ive built out of the box,Quite a detailed model, Loads of small parts some will be never seen. Finished in trainer yellow, black wash from oils. The tracks i assembled seperate airbrushed in alclad stainless steel these will also be weathered with washes. More soon, thanks for looking. 5
dphipps Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Cool build. I've felt a bit bored with the cars lately.. nothing catching my eye and no big ideas in my head. I enjoy the building more than anything so something like this is giving me some new ideas 1
BK9300 Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Nice progress, Graham. Looking forward to seeing how the washes turn out on the Alclad stainless track segments - might have a use for that myself. 1
Rockford Posted November 6 Posted November 6 I never thought I'd see you use the word "kit"! You must feel like you're in a straightjacket! Looks good though. 1

The Brush Posted November 8 Author Posted November 8 Hi, Thanks for the comments, Heres some pics of the final parts for the basic tractor, Your supposed to assemble the levers to the transmisson, then place the operaters floor over the top of them, However I made a false floor underneath it & fastened the levers to this instead makes life easier. Still weathering to do them fix it all together. Decals are home made & slightly scuffed to look used, I looked for some images of D7`S & saw one with logos on the cowl top so i added these as well 2
The Brush Posted Tuesday at 03:19 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 03:19 PM Hi, Heres the basic tractor, Still some paint/ washes to do, I changed the exhaust for aluminium pipe & added grab handles from staples, also working on the blade & cable winches. Lots of PPE parts to cope with, some are small. Thanks for looking. 3

Rockford Posted Wednesday at 06:42 PM Posted Wednesday at 06:42 PM It's too cold to do anything today! I was thinking of having a little bench time in the garage but I chickened out. 1

Don't need it often but sometimes it's very cosy! 1
