Charger Funny Car Posted yesterday at 01:54 AM Posted yesterday at 01:54 AM My older brother made this car about 20 years ago. When he proudly showed it to me after it was completed I was blown away. First of all I asked him where he got the kit. I had never seen such kit. He then told me that it was the Don Gartlits car and he just dropped in a mouse motor, cut the front of the body off and .... Wala! Jr Fueler! I then told him I was going to get that kit and build my vision. He, like always, inspired me. Well he passed a few years later and I asked his wife if she could ship the car to me so I could have it in my collection. She abliged and sent it to me in a 100 pieces. It sat for the last 4 years and I finally put her back together. I had to buy another kit to make it happen while trying to keep it as original as I could. Bitter sweet to say the least. Hope you enjoy. 7
ybsluos Posted yesterday at 04:42 AM Posted yesterday at 04:42 AM (edited) Scott, it looks amazing! And it is a great project that you can proudly say you and your brother both built. It’s also a fine tribute to him and his vision. -Mark Edited 11 hours ago by ybsluos 1
