I recently finished a Revell 2n1 '86 Monte Carlo, which I thought I might show you guys.

There are a few blemishes, (fingerprints, splotches, etc.) But overall I am very pleased with the result. The color is Testor's Ruby Red Metallic used w/o clear coat or primer. I went with fuel injection and the stock wheels, (look up the kit, the others are ridiculous) This kit went togethter very well with a minimal ammount of problems, (hood won't sit right, etc.) I would wholeheartedly reccomend this kit to someone who wanetd a good looking and moderately difficult assembling representation of a timeless classic, the Monte Carlo.

Thanks!

i agree about the hood, i built the same one and used furel injection and my hood didnt sit right either. your car looks good.

Hmm...thats weird. Perhaps a foul-up on the kits? Anyway, thanks!

Nice. The thing to remember is patience. Let the paint dry before handling your parts. You will avoid the fingersprint issues then, and spray light even coats to avoid splotches.

Yeah, paitence is crucial on models. I am learning, but slowly. Unfortunately last night while I was going for a couple quick photos, I dropped it. It was possibly the most spectacular explosion of a model car I have ever seen, which, while very cool was very depressing. However, now I have a second chance to re-do it and fix my mistakes! (Everything amazingly came apart cleanly!)
