  1. wow! that is some serious flake in the paint! love it!
  2. here is my jeep. i have a few others on the bench but no good pics
  3. here is a couple of mine. 69 camaro with a ls1 motor and a 72 nova
  4. the airbags are 1/8 by 1/16 rubber O-rings from my local Lordco. Napa and others carry them too. the metal rings are from my local scrapbooking store and the are eyelets and go for about a buck a bag.
  5. i learned not to cut the hole in the box so large and instead of a square notch i would use different styrene materials and make it a little more shaped and smaller. also i need to use a different methoed for filling in the taillights and such, i just filled them with putty and next time i will cut some flat stock to size and then fill the small lines instead of the whole thing.
  6. does the truck have to be lowered? i was thinking of taking mine in an elevated direction and it doesnt seem like anyone else in the build off is going that way. it is still a street truck in its own rights, i know there is lots where i am from!
  7. very nice! love the color. what did you use for the interior detailing on the seats and door panels? it looks awesome.
  8. i was just wondering, once my subject is out of the pond and stripped of paint how do i clean the sovent off so i can re-paint? any help is appreciated. thank you.
  9. both very sweet builds. the pathfinder/hardbody must have been a $#!t load of work. the frame and tube work is amazing! keep on posting, i need some motivation to do my silverado!

  11. dagone! it looks mighty fine if you ask me, but hey i am just a crazy canuck! i am joking though, it looks un-believable. love the murals and the fact it was a 1:1 makes it way better. very nice build. maybe one day i will be motivated to build my 81 camaro i had 1:1. again great job and thanks for sharing!
  12. well i figured i would ost a few pics of what i am starting with and some progress i havedone. i have chopped the inner fenderwellsout, removed the gas tank and cut the rear wells and middle bed floor out for my c-notch. next up is the c-notch and all frame supports and link mounting points. here she is. laying frame! tuckin 20's draggin bumper
  13. sorry to be a bother dukefan, when you said in the rules about factory style bed does that mean no cut outs and c-notches?

  15. very nice build! i like the red interior, i looks like something they would have done originally. makes me wish i had my 1:1 still.

  19. does it have to have performance parts on the motor or will a stock v-8 do? i think that i have a 99 silverado that needs an excuse to get out.

  22. i really wanted to do this kit so i picked it up and tore in. oob stock with the addition of some 22" wheels from the monte carlo donk kit. feedback always welcome.
