Jürgen M. Posted Thursday at 01:24 PM Author Posted Thursday at 01:24 PM I never really noticed that so many of these trucks had their drive axle in the center of the box. I'm sure the engine and cab are a great counter weight but it just doesn't look right to me! 1
Gary Chastain Posted Thursday at 02:56 PM Posted Thursday at 02:56 PM That dash looks really good, looking forward to what the rest of the interior looks like. 1 1
Jürgen M. Posted yesterday at 05:27 AM Author Posted yesterday at 05:27 AM Then I won't keep you waiting any longer! Steering wheel is still in the paintshop! Throttle and brake weren't included so I grabbed a few box parts. Seats are unevenly painted to create the impression of used leather. Not perfect but it'll do. Next Thing to do are the cab hinges. Also none included and my self made chassis is a bit wider than the original so I have to make my own. 2
Jürgen M. Posted 19 hours ago Author Posted 19 hours ago Cab is assembled. Now I have to get the hinges designed and printed. Might be that the cab will be a bit higher than the original but I can live with that. 1
Jürgen M. Posted 11 hours ago Author Posted 11 hours ago What a drag! I finally got the cab and was able to go on building and now I've got a flu! Means I'll be taking an undefined break. I might drop by now and then but not with any progress! You guys take care, stay healthy and have fun building! Jürgen 1
Jürgen M. Posted 11 hours ago Author Posted 11 hours ago By the way, I didn't say that to get virtual "get well" cards. I just wanted to tell you why I won't be around for a while! So please don't feel obliged. It will pass. 😉 1
