Looks like you’ve got a pretty good handle on it.😎 Thank you sir It’s because of yourself and all the other great builders who have given me advice on my Chevelle in wip, that has guided me along. Thanks again Kelly

STU111 Posted Thursday at 11:52 PM Posted Thursday at 11:52 PM That’s a good looking 39 sedan delivery you have there. First build you say? Well, you’re off to a cracking start! Well done. Lots of good helpful people on here, so don’t be shy to ask questions if you need. 👍🏻
Dragline Posted Friday at 12:16 AM Posted Friday at 12:16 AM Well welcome back to our crazy hobby. That looks super so it appears your skills are still intact. Can't wait to see your 4th and 5th builds. All indications are they will be rocking.

Hinges went back in the box door got glued on along with glue prints That’s why no picture of the door But I am really enjoying building models!

ea0863 Posted Saturday at 10:41 PM Posted Saturday at 10:41 PM Welcome to the forum Kelly! I picked up the hobby about 3 years ago after a lifetime away from it, and have also found this forum a great resource - - - plus you get to make friends! I too love your first effort and think you will be able to proudly display it for years to come. As for shaky hands, I have found modeler's masking tape very useful to apply when trying to get crisp lines. As an aside, some of your photos seemed to have a depth-of-field issue. What are you using to take the pics? Many cameras these days have a setting for close-ups, especially phone cameras. Can't wait to see your next one!
Watertown Posted yesterday at 02:14 AM Posted yesterday at 02:14 AM Very impressive first build!! Had you not alerted us to the fact, I would have assumed you to have been building for some time. Nice work!! Keep it up!
Deathgoblin Posted yesterday at 03:42 AM Posted yesterday at 03:42 AM Great job! Looks a darn sight better than my first one.
