1968 Pontiac Firebird 400

Next up is this Revell 1968 Pontiac Firebird 400. One of my fav cars as a kid.

The kit has two options, stock and a drag racer version. I'm going with the drag version, except I will keep the interior stock.

 

Colors will be silver metallic over this light blue with the black and red firebird decals. I'm thinking grey interior.

 

 

I've already completed the engine and frame, exhaust, etc. Still engine details to do.

Hah! I just realized that the headers do not line up with the pipes. First issue to fix. Ugh.

Using a blast from a lighter helped bend pipes for me.

I repositioned the pipes. Good tip for future though.
