FujimiLover Posted June 2, 2009 Author Posted June 2, 2009 (edited) I forgot to mention Gone in 60 Seconds, but I prefer the newer version with Nicolas Cage. I also forgot to add Independence Day, Death Race, "I purchased it from Itunes but didn't care for it much." Spaceballs, Smokey and The Bandit, part's 1 and 2. I thought part 3 was kind of lame. and how could I have forgotten Mike Meyers Austin Powers International Man of Mystery, The Spy Who Shagged Me, and Goldmember! I love Austin Powers got'em all three on my Itunes. Let's see.................D.A.R.Y.L. is another good one, War Games, and darn me I forgot one of my all time Mathew Braderic favorites, Ferris Bueller's Day Off! LOL! Of these ones listed, I have the Austin Powers trilogy, Death Race, and War Games. The other mentioned movies are wish lists. Oh yea, and of coarse Iron Man! That movie was really awesome! Got that one too! What is a good DVD to Ipod ripper for Mac's? When I was using Window's, I had a great one called Apollo DVD to Ipod and it worked beautifully. But I'm not sure if it'll work on the Mac. Edited June 2, 2009 by FujimiLover
Willy Survive Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 I'm a huge George Romero fan so my favorite of all time is definitely the original "Dawn of the Dead". Lots more in no particular order. Edward Scissor hands Mother, Jugs, and Speed Evil Dead Trilogy The Longest Day The Hell fighters (Grossly underrated John Wayne classic) Thunder Road Departed Cape Fear (Both Versions) Night of the Hunter (Robert Mitchum at his creepy best) Shaun of the Dead Star Wars Series Slap Shot The Shootist Sea of Love Bad Boys (A young Sean Penn in a juvenile detention center...Awesome and brutal) Suspiria Halloween (Original ONLY ) Dead Alive L.A. Confidential On The Waterfront Airplane Escape from Alcatraz Midnight In the Garden of Good and Evil The Grifters The Outsiders (if you haven't seen it please do) etc. etc. etc... Mark my turn to compliment you on your taste "Crossroads" is one of the greatest music movies ever. Strong performance by Ralph Macchio (yes, the karate kid himself) and I believe it was Steve Vai who he competed with in the amazing climactic guitar duel. Great great movie.
