It's a good kit, but is kind of fiddly. Take care with

the doors as they are a PITA, or glue them shut.

The chrome headlight buckets are best if installed

into the body. Then install the clear lenses into

the bezels, and glue the bezels to the body. It

takes some fitting, but looks good when done.

Also look at the locating pins on the top of the

chassis at the radiator. The holes in the body are

offset which will cock the chassis off to one side.

Last thing, when you glue the chassis to the body

I suggest that you use epoxy on the bottom side

of the door jambs to suck the body into the sides

of the chassis, then wrap a couple of rubber bands

around the assembly to dry. If you do a dry fitting

of the interior to the body you will see that the

body bows out on the sides.

I'm not putting down the kit at all. Considering

that it is 45 or so years old some wear and

tear can be expected ;).

With CARE it builds up nice.

Can't wait to see it! :D

Don.

Wow! You got a model finished since Christmas!

Father Time was a young sprout the last time I

finished anything! ;););)

If you can you might print my notes and

toss them in the box. It will save you some

headaches down the road. Before you know

it you'll be old and forgetfull like me! :D
