I have looked through the Hobby Town product list for R/C Plane and Car servo's but I am looking for much smaller. I don't know if they are even made but if you know of a source, I would appreciate the info. Thanks.

Please define very small

I need something that will fit under a seat and in a door on a model car. I really don't expect to find anything that small but I am amazed at what people on this board knows. All you have to do is ask.

Terry, how 'bout the motor out of one of those tiny Zip-Zap RC cars?

Some of the nicer hobby shops sell the motors separately.

Or just buy a used one off the 'Bay and take it apart?

Did you check out those Volz servos?

I may have to go with motors but I hopping I could find a small servo. The motor will take more work to do what I want but if that is the only option, then that's what it will be. Thanks, I'll check them out.

If you don't need proportional control, how about a small solenoid? Just basically a magnetic rod suspended in a coil through which you apply current... could even make them yourself if you're tricky.
