Guest JamesDE Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 (edited) Kevin, the Olds is looking good bro. Get yourself some baremetal foil and you should be set with the body. I think whitewalls would look good on there as well. If you dont have any, you can make some with white acrylic paint on the sidewalls. Thats how I usually do my wide whites. PM me your addy again, and I'll look through my stash boxes and see if I can piece together a motor for this and hook you up with a few extra goodies. I know you have a hard time finding stuff model related. Edited December 28, 2009 by JamesDE
FordWagonNut Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 I love the Oldsmobiles from 1971-1976. Good looking body style. For surf boards, the Johan '59 Rambler came with two. Might want to see if anyone on here is willing to give them up. Also for the 455, would a 500 cid engine work out of another Johan kit, Eldorado? I would imagine that it would "look" and fit better in the engine bay.
Guest Mustang3.8 Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 Thanks, guys. Anyone interested in one of these kits can contact Steve Kohler at R&R resins. I'd love to see another builder's take on this big car.
