Greetings to All,

Well, I took a big step and picked up 5 kits that looked interesting to me.

They are,

1) AMT '32 Chrysler Roadster - 2004 Toy Fair release 1/25

2) Revell/Monogram '32 Ford 3 window coupe 1/25

3) AMT '36 Ford 3 in 1 1/25

4) AMT '36 5 window coupe 1/25

5) Monogram '29 Ford pick up 1/24

They came in a 2 and 3 kit set off of E-bay and I paid $9.05 per kit.

Let me know what you think of the kits, good or bad and any other information you feel may be helpful.

Thanks,

Joe

It is not what we think (wouldn't let us pick your girlfriend would ya?), it is what you like. That being said I think you did just fine and welcome to the fun.

I have a couple of these kits. However they are unopened so I do not know the quality, yet. Price wise I believe you did well. Welcome back to building!

Hi Bruce/Jeff,

Thanks.

Yep, like them old body styles with big engines/tires, nice paint jobs and mag wheels. I've always been partial to the street rods.

I also like the old body style when used as drag cars. Hard to beat a Willis all set up for the strip.

Hi Mark,

Thanks fore the info. It's nice to know what to expect before assembly is started.

I did indeed pick up the '32 Ford 5 window based on your recommendation.

As far as tube glue, I pretty much use that in all of my builds with liquid being used occasionally.
