Torino Pace Car reissue ?

fellas,

I sure hope that Round 2/AMT reissues the '68 Indy 500 Ford Torino Pace Car convertible, I never had a chance to get one when they were out. Can anyone tell me if the car was ever reissued after the Pace Car version ?

The Torino was updated and sold as a 1969 model (along with the other AMT 1969 model kits). It was issued as the Cobra "coupe". But the roof was a separate glue-on piece with vinyl roof texture, and the convertible boot was still included.

you can get it in resin from missing link, with new and vastly improved decals. or you can opt for the 68 coupe in resin from motor city resin casters..
