Guest Gassersgarage
Can anyone ID this wheel? And has it ever been done in scale? Thanks Robertcudawheel.bmp
Scott H.
Those look like Hurst (yep, the shifter company) rims. The kit I found them in is the Johan Cadillac Hearse, but they may be offered aftermarket too. Hope this helps, -Scott H.
Guest Gassersgarage
Thats what I thought, but for some reason they don't look like the ones in the Revell GTO kit.. Thanks Robert
roadhawg
Yep, Hurst Wheels. I'm thinking Modelhaus has those.
Guest Gassersgarage
Those do look more like the picture, the picture I was using didn't have the Fenton sponsor decal on it. How about the scale part? Anyone? Thanks Steve.. Robert
fordsixty
hey, do not mean to nitpic; however, those are Fenton Sharks. when you mentioned Fenton, that reminded me of a buddy in high school. he had a '70 maverick grabber with Fenton Super Sharks on it. i thought those were the Sharks, just had to find a picture. these are 14 x 7 reverses. the ones on the 'cuda are standards. i think you could use a set of Cragar S/Ss and flatten the spokes with a dremel. then use .005 x.005 strips, glued in place, for the raised portion of the spokes. a little sanding, then paint with Alcad. just a thought.
